York A-1 Pumping Service is a family owned and operated business. The owners are Kim and Randy Johnson.

Kim worked as the office manager for York Septic Systems for five and a half years. During that time Randy was an over-the-road trucker.

In the fall of 2006, Kim and Randy were presented with the opportunity to combine their office and driving skills as the owners of a well-known and established septic pumping business.
